Bipolar (2014) | HearteartH Video Exhibition (Berlin, Germany)

Bipolar (2014)
HearteartH | Video Art Exhibition
From 8th to 10th of July
Berlin (Germany)

HearteartH is a collective project for artists and media makers ideated by video artists Sonia Laura Armaniaco and Maria (Felix) Korporal. The concept took life from these two interlocking words: HEART and EARTH. The strong symbolism of the two words, which are inevitably associated with life, has a strong pull. One is drawn into it. In the almost fateful dependence of these terms of one another, they seem inextricably linked together, even permanently, forever.

original

HearteartH will be presented in a large festival with an exhibition, video screenings and a special AV performance night, from 8-10 July 2016 in Group Global 3000 and in Medienwerkstatt Bethanien, Berlin. In September 2016 the same video screenings will be shown in [.BOX], the space of Visual Container in Milan. Visual Container will also broadcast the project on VisualContainer.tv

High Desert International Film Festival 2016 Official selection | Solar Love

Solar Love (2015)
Official selection
High Desert International Film Festival
From 26th to 29th May
Pahrump (Nevada)
United States

2006 marked the very beginning of the journey to this, the 10th season of the High Desert International Film Festival and, from the start, the focus has been on supporting a sense of community.

The heart of this festival was, is now, and will always be, to celebrate the talents of the international, independent, filmmaking community; in support of those visionaries who might be in search of an audience, funding for a project, collaboration with peers or validation of their art.

hdiff-ltr-logo

An artist simply cannot work in a vacuum. There must be an audience to applaud and encourage their efforts or perhaps to let them know that they should take a step back or maybe even start over.

Every season we throw a party and invite the neighbors—and they join us—from all over the world. Consider this your invitation.

Bipolar (2014) |10th Montreal Underground Film Festival (MUFF) May 21-24, 2015 (Montreal, Canada)

BIPOLAR (2014)
Film by Fred L’Epee, Elam Ellis Embarq and Ed Alvarado
10th Montreal Underground Film Festival (MUFF)
May 21-24, 2015
Montreal, Canada

MUFF celebrates and promotes low-budget filmmakers who challenge the limitations of mainstream cinema, making the world a more exciting, engaging place to live. We showcase inventive filmmaking that pushes the boundaries of independent film. We encourage experimental work that is radical, visionary, subversive.

MUFF10

MUFF is a small, dedicated collective of programmers in search of creative moving image work featuring any experimental combination of narrative, non-narrative, documentary, animation, sound, style, performance. We are looking for films that highlight the power of the paracinematic to disrupt the status quo—deviant work, unafraid to challenge and enrich the spectator’s relationship to the everyday and to the medium itself.

MUFF is committed to the idea that some of the most unique and critical voices are those that come from the margins—artistic, social, cultural, political. Expose your vision to MUFF!
